Challenge

The business wanted to bolster its website’s SEO ranking and conversion numbers, but did not have the budget to recreate a whole new website.

Solution

We performed keyword research to develop new content more relevant to the target audience and made select updates to the website design to make it easier for customers to find the information they need. Specifically, we made contact links more prominent, added calls to action to the top of the home page, and cut out steps between the home page and sending a reservation.

Result

With a few subtle optimizations, we were able to raise the website from a low 31% F PageSpeed Score and 53% F YSlow Score on GTMetrix to a 66% D PageSpeed Score and 71% C YSlow Score.

The website went from an F to an A on SecurityHeaders.com.

Each month we are reviewing and reporting information that measures how well the website is performing in terms of conversions. We are making adjustments as needed. Page views and conversions are increasing.
